Approval - 36%
Disapproval - 29%

Hagan article entitled: "Voters split on Hagan"
Approval - 32% LOWER THAN BURR'S
Disapproval - 32% HIGHER THAN BURR'S

Please stop trying to mislead your readers.

Freshman Kay Hagan has yet to have a break-out moment in the U.S. Senate, a new poll suggests.

The survey found that 32 percent of voters approve of the job she is doing, 32 percent disapprove and 36 percent are basically asking, "Kay who?"

The Greensboro Democrat's numbers are not very different from those in an April poll, also conducted by Public Policy Polling, a Democratic-leaning firm based in Raleigh, reports Rob Christensen.

But the polling firm said that since April, Hagan, who had voiced reservations about parts of President Barack Obama's health care plan, has seen her support drop among Democrats but rise among Republicans and independents.

The poll of 767 North Carolina voters was conducted July 10-12 had a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
