Well I would have hoped that the senator and her staff could have found more back ground info on her recommendations for these post.(eastern)
1st recommendation: Col. Holden has been a a long time trooper and head of highway patrol which enforces motor vehicle law, speeding tickets, investigates wrecks and so forth.
2nd: Scott Parker has been long time commander of the Drug Task Force Unit over the eastern region and works daily with all law enforcement agencies along with the sitting U.S. Marshal already knowing what needs to be done.
3rd: sorry but a private investigator, please. I'm sorry that they did not give more back ground on this one to be fair.

Now I think the staff should check with the NCSHP's I-A division about a wreck the Col was in with a "female" passenger that was never listed on the report at(who got promoted for keeping this secret??) the commander's direction and why the Governor gave Mr Holden a high paying contract job when he suddenly retired after this story broke at N.C. office of Governors Highway Safety Programs which they say he never did any daily job other than cash his check what so ever??????

Sen. Hagan has submitted 3 names to the President for each position. There is only one position in each federal judicial district. Most likely the President will pick one of the names from Sen. Hagan's list for the postion. The President then nominates his choice and his nomination must be confirmed by the Senate.

Not everyone knows the inside details of these appointments. It would be helpful if you would include such basic information about them as whether this is final or must be approved by someone else, and whether these three nominees apiece are for two jobs, or for three jobs in each of two districts or what. Seems kind of hard to hit the post button without that info, to me at least.
