Sure Paul. Always happy to help with directions, and you know how much I enjoy telling you where to go. The abyss is to the right and Karl is waiting for you at the bottom.

But it really should have been self evident where Dole and Burr actually came from given their susceptibility to Bush White House arm twisting and their subsequent betrayals of NC working families on issues like CAFTA.

They both won their first race. And counting Doles recent loss you can say ROVE is 2 of 3. If Burr wins again then ROVE is 3 of 4. Dang good if you ask me. Thanks for that info Gosh.

Maybe he'll do a better job at it than Karl Rove who recruited our last two.

Karl Rove, the chief White House adviser under President Bush, recruited Burr and former Sen. Elizabeth Dole to run.

You forgot to mention the civil trial that is going forward. You repeatedly printed and reprinted the supposed gaffe by Burr. Yet you continually fail to mention the lawsuit pertaining to a political ad that Cooper knew was untrue. The voters need to know about Cooper's dishonesty.

President Barack Obama is expected to put a little presidential pressure on Attorney General Roy Cooper at the White House today, urging "Coop" to step into the U.S. Senate race next year, Dome hears on the street.

Cooper will ostensibly visit 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., along with the state's congressional delegation, to show their support for the NCAA champion UNC men's basketball team during the traditional photo op with the president, who correctly picked the Tar Heels in his bracket. But Cooper, a third-term Democrat, is also expected to have a private talk with Obama about taking on Republican U.S. Sen. Richard Burr in 2010.

Cooper's political guru Morgan Jackson confirmed the White House visit, but was cagey about face time with the Commander-in-Chief.

"I'm certain he and the President will see each other at the (Tar Heels) ceremony," Jackson said.

It's not the first talk between the two on the topic, as Obama has encouraged Cooper's candidacy before in a phone call.
