Oh Gosh by Gosh, someone who has drunk the Democrat Kool-Ade calling the other side fringe is so laughable. Any one that knows anything about "Scientific" polling knows that results depend on how many people are polled, when they are polled, and how the questions are framed. One can design a poll to come up with any answer they want. It is far too early to put much credence in any of the polls. FYI Senator Burr's campaign website is not new, he used it in 2004, it is only updated. Senator Burr has always been approachable, always responds, always listens, and is in the state every weekend they are not in session. What he does not do is brag on himself and what he does. So just because you don't see him doesn't mean he is not out there working. Unlike the Democrats who talk the talk but do not walk the walk; Senator Burr walks the walk.

However, I do happen to know what Burr does for North Carolina in spite of not living in your ivory gated community. He told Bush "yes" for 4 years and has told Obama "no" for 3 months.

Listen, you can't help but be fringe. It's who you are and I respect that. I only offer self awareness on behalf on mainstream America.

I do not think you are capable of looking past the R after his name in order to be objective if at all. At least when I criticize Hagan, I speak with facts, unlike you diatribes of mere emotions. Plus you are citing a poll, which are inherently flawed, yet Americans continue to let them convey how we feel.

Burr has been a visible figure in North Carolina and has worked hard on our behalf.

Is that why John Pope's conservative think tank Civitas says Burr is lagging behind Cooper?

Visibility? Burr's problem is that people know him?

Or do you prefer the other excuse since 50% of North Carolinians have "No Opinion/Not Aware" of their Senior Senator?

Burr's just yet to define himself?

Gosh simply does not agree with Burr because he is a conservative and Gosh is a Statist.

If Gosh would like to talk about secrecy then why doesn't he challenge Sen. Hagan to inform Wambu and Aikens' why they were fired? That is secretive and very suspicious.

But DOME poster starcoconst said yesterday the campaigns hadn't started yet so it was irresponsible for a newspaper to print results of a poll showing Burr already lagging Cooper.

RTB, are you sure this is ethical to post? Maybe Burr meant to keep his re-election campaign launch a secret, just like his service to North Carolina in the Senate.

The Winston-Salem Republican has made no secret that he is running for re-election in 2010, though his Democratic challenger(s) have not yet announced.
