Regarding the 6 hr. Kroger sale 2-8pm thurs. I was at the WF store at 5:30 and they were basically out of everything. I asked for a raincheck and they said they weren't giving any out for the specials as they were first come first served. I pointed out that the add did not say that nor that rain checks would not be given out and it was like "tough". Kroger is going to hear from me as that seems an unfair practice - having a very limited amount of items and then calling it a 6 hr. sale. I will be giving them a very limited business in the future.

I went to HT this morning for the chicken. They rang up at $1.83/lb, or someting similar. That's a great deal, considering they are normally $5.49/lb.

Does anyone know of a way to search online for the best price of an item? I'm preparing to buy supplies for my Xmas baking - and would like to know where to find the best deal on molasses, butter, etc.

2 kinds of chapstick are BOGO (reg .99 each) at the HT on Creedmoor road and I used 2 .25 coupons to make them FREE!

Don't forget that KMart is doubling coupons up to and including $2 through Saturday!

and if you do the rite aid earbuds deal, make sure it shows up. I bought them yesterday, and they didn't show up online. I'm planning on calling, and usually it isn't a problem for them to adjust it, but just be careful!

Yes, they should. The rule on rain checks is that they should be offered for deals that are published in the HT flier. These were obviously published, so you should be able to get a rain check. Alternatively, you can also ask at customer service if they are expecting another truck over the weekend. Stores often re-stock about halfway through the promotion.

These deals at HT are awesome but go fast. Does HT give rain checks for the unreal deals and buy2 get3 / buy 1 get 2 deals?

Well, it’s a mighty fine deals week out there! The pharmacies are busy promoting holiday sales, and Harris Teeter has gone all out to promote its latest initiative involving lower prices on several store brand products and an expanded Unreal Deals selection. There are good deals this week on razors, candy and medications, and there are a few good ones that make the item free after rebate or coupon or both.

And don’t miss the special Walgreens flier in today’s paper, which has a coupon to get $5 in Register Rewards (good like a $5 bill on a future Walgreens purchase) when you spend $25.
