It will be his first appearance since May, when he attended the state Libertarian Party convention.</p><p>Barr will speak at <a href="http://www.duke.edu">Duke University</a> at 5 p.m., then at <a href="http://www.unc.edu">UNC-Chapel Hill</a> at 8 p.m.</p><p>He is the only third-party candidate to appear on the North Carolina ballot.
