The N.C. Association of Educators is expected to give Lt. Gov. Beverly Perdue a supportive send off when it meets Saturday to deliver its formal endorsement.
The group’s government relations committee has already recommended Perdue, but the official ratification won’t come until Saturday at NCAE’s Raleigh headquarters, reports Rob Christensen.
The endorsement comes just in time for Perdue’s official entry into the race on Monday.
