Rudy returns to Raleigh

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani will be Raleigh next month as part of a series of fundraisers in North Carolina.

The GOP presidential candidate will attend a fundraiser at the home of Raleigh business executive Dwayne Long on Dec. 3. Earlier in the day, Giuliani will hold fundraisers in Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Pinehurst, reports Rob Christensen.

"I’ll be disappointed if we don’t raise a couple of hundred thousand dollars,” said Jim Culbertson, a Winston-Salem businessman who is Giuliani’s state campaign chairman.

Giuliani will be in Charlotte Wednesday night for a fundraiser.

Rudy 9ui11iani

I think you mean Rudy 9ui11iani visits 9ui11ford.

Hahahahaha

I wonder which indicted criminal he'll have in tow this time?

It's truly hilarious to see NC Christians and Republican extremists like Art Pope falling all over themselves to support a cross-dressing serial adulterer whose business partners include known sleazebags - and who has slopped at the public trough to rake in millions through shady contracts. Oh wait, that last part is pretty much par for the course for Republicans these days.

Re: Rudy returns to Raleigh

Rudy Guiliani has only a casual aquaintance with the truth ....

The Real Rudy

In the GOP debate of October 9, Rudy misquoted Senator Hillary Clinton concerning her views on the free market. He also grossly exaggerated Sen. Clinton’s 401k proposals and reported that she had proposed giving $5000 to every child in America when in fact Sen. Clinton had made no such proposal.
Furthermore, he twisted a stat around to make a point about “frivolous” lawsuits by saying that they comprise 2.2% of GDP. In fact total lawsuits comprise 2.2% of GDP; those responsible for the stat made no distinction between frivolous lawsuits and ones that had merit.
The above is sourced from Factcheck.org. Google “Giuliani’s Lies” for more examples.
Those are minor indiscretions compared to Giuliani’s lies concerning his role as mayor of New York City prior to 9-11. Straight form the horse’s mouth – go to You Tube and search “Rudy command center” and watch Giuliani in an interview with Chris Wallace. He gets caught lying about why, in the late 1990’s, the command center for New York’s emergency services was put in the World Trade Center, the only place in the city that had already been hit by a terrorist attack.
Hopefully the voting public will realize that Giuliani’s character is at best questionable and, at worst, entirely absent.

Don't forget "Rudy 9/11 Guiliani 9/11 visits 9/11 Guilford!".

Re: Rudy returns to Raleigh

I reckon the time has come for us to grant Mr. Giuliani the right to spell his name just like it is. See, in writing about these great presidential candidates, I had been thinking it would be more fitting if we North Carolinians could spell Rudy's last name "Guiliani." That way, if he ever went into Guilford County, he'd feel right at home.

But now Dome is telling us that the former New York mayor will indeed visit Greensboro, the Gate City and the county seat of Guilford County. So we suppose the pundits and the headline writers will have a field day:

"Giuliani in Guilford For a Fundraiser"

"It's a Giuliani-Guilford Extravaganza!"

"Guilford GOP Goes Ga-Ga Over Giuliani."

Still, you have to admit, "Rudy Guiliani" would look good on a Guilford County ballot...
