N.C. GOP denounces Kos

The N.C. Republican Party is denouncing Kos.

In a press release, the state party calls liberal blogger Markos Moulitsas Zúniga the "founder of an extremist website" known for his "angry, incendiary comments" and "hate-filled rants."

Moulitsas, creator of The Daily Kos, will be on a conference call with the N.C. Democratic Party.

The Web site has more than 125,000 registered members, and includes blogs by U.S. Rep. Brad Miller and Democratic Congressional candidate Marshall Adame from North Carolina.

State Republican Chairwoman Linda Daves said that state Democrats should rebuke Moulitsas.

"The angry, hate-mongering rhetoric of liberal blogger, Markos Moulitsas, should get him pushed to the fringes of the political debate," she said. "Instead, fellow liberals laud him as a 'kingmaker.'"

State Democrats said they were flabbergasted.

"Are these the same people who promoted Karl Rove coming to the Hendersonville Republicans earlier this year?" said Democratic Party spokeswoman Kerra Bolton. "You've got to be kidding me."

John hagee is preaching the same message. The worst thing is that when the priestes was raping our children over and over again many of us stood in the catholic churches and the best of all many people still sit in their church with many pastor who is still sinning. As for Linda daves she is a racism and prejudice woman.I hope she will repent because God gave is only son to died for all people and he didn't judge people by the color of their skin. If she want to put that ads up about obama pastor then she should also tell the nc. people about Mccain accepting John hagee endorsement so the people on the republican side will know that pat cory is also running for gov. in nc. God is looking down on american and watching how racism is still part of amreican .I hope and pray that american will all start admitting their sin so we all can go to heaven ,because if not don't be fooled we will not make it in.

Don't quite understand why NCGOP would denounce Daily Kos; I've always found them to be quite helpful to the conservative Republican effort.

If it were my decision, I'd place both the Daily Kos and BlueNC on the NCGOP website.

Know thy enemy ;-).

Re: N.C. GOP denounces Kos

Last week, President Bush invited members of DC chapter of the right-wing website FreeRepublic.com, along with other conservative groups, to the White House for a picnic. According to a posting about the event on Free Republic, “President spent what seemed like two hours meeting with everyone who wanted to speak with him.”

Even Fox News’s Bill O’Reilly said in July that the comments on the site are “vile, hateful stuff.” Why doesn't the NC GOP denounce bush for hosting the really unhinged hateful?

Re: N.C. GOP denounces Kos

Not gonna happen. At least not until THEY denounce, among others, Ann Coulter for HER hatemongering rhetoric.

Hahahahahahaha

This is pretty rich coming from the rightwing lunatic fringe that tramples the Constitution, condones torture, supports mercenary armies, lies about matters of national security and denounces gays as "not normal."

But I'm not sure why state Democrats were flabbergasted. This is perfectly predictable projection from the North Carolina Party of Greed.
