More Merritt?

State Auditor Les Merritt is running for re-election next year.

In a statement e-mailed this morning, the first-term Republican said he wants to "continue working to improve the way our state manages the people's money:

"For the past two years our team and I have worked hard to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of our state government, but there is still much work to be done," said Merritt.
