Gov. Mike Easley will talk about his book on UNC-TV Friday.
"Look Out College, Here I Come!" is a children's book about higher education that Easley published with the help of his friends at the National Education Association.
At 9:30 p.m. Friday and again at 5 p.m. on Sunday, UNC-TV will air an episode of North Carolina Bookwatch that focuses on the book. Presumably, there's not much to say about the plot, which follows the antics of Flappy the Fish and his friends, so the discussion will be a bit broader.
From the schedule:
In this exclusive interview with North Carolina Bookwatch's D.G. Martin, Governor Easley shares his thoughts on education reform within the state and how his latest book is meant to "go directly to our children [to] tell them at an early age that college is essential in this economy."
