Hagan's $10 million challenge


Kay HaganState Sen. Kay Hagan said she has has a lot of fund raising to do.

The Greensboro Democrat, who entered the Democratic Senate primary yesterday, guessed a race against Republican Sen. Elizabeth Dole would take $10 million, Rob Christensen reports.

Dole is a seasoned fund raiser who spent $13.7 million during her 2002 election victory over Democrat Erskine Bowles.

The Salisbury Republican has $3.7 million this year and had $2.3 million in the bank as of Sept. 30.

It will be easy for Sen. Liddy (I only come to North Carolina for photo opportunities)Dole to raise tons of cash because she is bought and paid for by Wall Street Big Corporations and the Right-Wing Neo-Cons. She has not accomplished anything for the people of North Carolina!
