Black's sentencing delayed


The scheduled sentencing for former House Speaker Jim Black on a public corruption charge has been delayed, Andy Curliss reports.

The new date is May 18 at 9 a.m. in federal court in Raleigh. The sentencing had been set for May 14.

Black, a Mecklenburg County Democrat, resigned from the legislature earlier this session.
