Beason's resignation

Don Beason quit lobbying by Blackberry.

The lobbyist called the Secretary of State's office on Tuesday to request the appropriate forms to resign as a registered lobbyist. When a staffer e-mailed the form, he responded:

Thanks: please consider this as my notice to resign as a registered lobbyist for all listed principals.  The proper forms will follow.  Thanks again, Don Beason

The e-mail was sent around 3:30 p.m. from Beason's Blackberry, which runs on AT&T, one of his former clients.
